Joe’s first roleplaying character came to life with the “Dungeons & Dragons Basic Set” during grade six lunch hours in the school library. Since then roleplaying games have always stayed close. After “Advanced D&D” he moved on to play many other systems, including several superhero roleplaying systems, and countless minor releases. White Wolf’s Street Fighter RPG, anyone?
In college Joe began studying theatre and fell in love with improvisation and TheatreSports, eventually co-founding the improv troupe “The Robin Goodfellow Players” with a few of his fellow players.
Creativity, improvisation, and role playing have always been strongly connected, but Joe has taken it to a new level with Adventure For Hire’s Improvised RPG Adventure. A4H fuses the strengths of the 13th Age RPG — a “D&D-like” system that’s great for beginners and experienced roleplayers alike — with the joy of cooperative improvisational comedy and creative storytelling.
Adventure For Hire players aren’t just playing a game — they’re joining a cooperative creative endeavor!
